Hi! My name is Ola. I’m almost 16 years old and I live in not that big country, Poland.
Since I remember I always used to eat junk food, my lifestyle was horribly terrifying. I’ll tell you what I ate and you will be so terrified. So my breakfast was usually (almost every day) chocolate flakes with milk or roll with cheese and ketchup or with nutella. While I was on school I ate sweets, chips, school made pizza, I drank sweet drinks, for lunch I ate past with green or red pesto or chicken with some rice and tomato or curry sauce. My dinner were usually sandwiches with melted cheese, pesto, other one with nutella or pancakes with nutella or some sweet yogurt with sweet kind of m&m’s. If you ask what fruits and veggies I ate, well, olny green peas, beans, broad bean, corn, cauliflower, carrots, bananas, citrus fruits,and I don’t remember what else, probably nothing. So, yeahhh I was really unhealthy kid, then teenager. I never ate something that just looked wrong for me.
I have never thought and cared about my weight until I was at my 7th grade at school and all my friends were so skinny, good looking, even if they eate bad stuffs as I did, but they were eating more veggies and fruits, they probably ate better than I did. I wasn’t feeling great, I wanted to change it , I wanted to look as good as they did, but I haven’t got a courage to start my new journey with healthy lifestyle. I waited until new year,so I can make my New Years resolution.
I started my better lifestyle since the beginning of the 2015. Well, I thought that I ate clean, I thought that 15 min of workout (quick and without quick cardio and stretching before) was great for me, I only worked on my abs and thighs. The truth was that I wasn’t eating so great, I quit meat, sweets, desserts and all gas drinks, I drank only water, coffee and tea. I ate whole wheat bread and maybe one more vegetable that I used to eat casually, my usual meal was rice pasta with soya sauce (I WAS SO STUPID!!), I ate sweet granola (well I really thought that they only used honey as a sweet ingredients). I had terrible stomachache and bloating stomach. I felt horrible, but I wanted to be skinny and just loose some weight.
My hero was Cassey Ho, I found her about 5 months ago and started work out with her, I watched her other videos where she explained “why you can’t look weight” and as I got to the end of the video I realized that I wasn’t doing great with my ““healthy lifestyle””. I saw her other videos, I went on her blog and I started really eating clean, workout more and with better effects, I started eating more veggies and fruits that I newer though I would even try, I quit salt, I become vegetarian, I drank a lot of water, I slept more than I used to, I, as my mom said “You are shining!! You become a such a positive and healthy person”. I have never weighted myself (well maybe when I was a kid, but I don’t remember this days), but I took a picture of myself and then 2 months after working out, eating clean with Cassey I took new photo and I saw a difference! I saw a change in my body, in my mind, in my tummy (the stomachache stopped!). It keeps me motivate. Just looking how huge work I did. When I saw that Cassey has her monthly calendar with 6 days in weeks with workouts I sign up without thinking about it much. It was a great idea, I do her calendar for 3 months now and I couldn’t be happier, I love poppilates, it works for me and my body. Cassey is such a positive and inspiring person, also she is AWESOME personal trainer, I just love her.
